Mindfulness Minute

What’s in it for me?

A mindfulness minute is a type of meditation that we can all practice. It is something that we can learn to do anywhere, anytime and without the need to be on the top of a mountain in Tibet or in a Buddhist temple in Mongolia. In this short presentation we will try and teach you how to take your first mindful minute.

As well as this you can:

  • Visit the HSE’s YourMentalHealth.ie website – it’s full of useful information and lists a wide range of supports by area so you can find something that suits you
  • Call the Samaritans 24 hour helpline. • If you feel that you can’t keep yourself safe or are supporting someone else who can’t then go to the emergency department of your nearest hospital straight away
